💙 Celebrating Our Monarchs! 💙 |
Thank you to our amazing families and community for celebrating our Monarch of the Month award recipients for empathy, along with our students who achieved over 95% attendance in September. Your support helps our students grow as Thinkers, Leaders, and Coders, and we are proud of their kindness, leadership, and commitment to learning.
We also want to recognize the students and families who helped us reach our attendance goals. A special shout-out to the two classes that met our 95% attendance goal last week: Ms. Keith’s class with 96% and Ms. Pikkel’s class with 95%! Thank you for making school a priority—every day counts, and your effort shows in our classrooms and throughout our campus.
Together, we will continue building a community where students feel connected, capable, and celebrated. Keep up the great work, Monarchs!

Thank you for your support; together we help our Monarchs grow as Thinkers, Leaders, and Coders!
🗣️ What to Ask at Parent/Teacher Conferences |
Parent/Teacher Conferences are a great opportunity to learn more about your child’s progress and how we can work together to support their success. Here are some helpful questions families can ask during conferences to better understand how their child is growing socially, emotionally, and academically:
Academic Progress
- How is my child progressing in reading, writing, and math?
- What are my child’s strengths?
- What skills should we focus on next?
Classroom Learning & Support
- How does my child participate during class?
- Are there any assignments or habits my child struggles with?
- What can we do at home to support learning?
Behavior & Social-Emotional Growth
- How does my child work with classmates and handle challenges?
- Does my child show responsibility, empathy, and positive behavior?
Goals & Next Steps
- What goals should we set for the next few weeks?
- How will we monitor progress together?
By asking questions and partnering with teachers, families help students grow with confidence and purpose. Thank you for your continued support in helping our Monarchs learn and thrive as Thinkers, Leaders, and Coders!
