Dismissal Map

Welcome to This Week’s Mariposa Minutes

We hope all of our Monarch families are having a wonderful start to the new year. This week, our students have been hard at work completing their DIBELS benchmarks and iReady Reading and Math Diagnostics. These assessments give us important mid-year information about each student’s growth and help us plan the best possible instruction for the months ahead.

Because of this, attendance is especially important. When students are present, they can complete their assessments on time, remain connected to their learning, and receive the support they need to thrive. Thank you for helping your child arrive each day ready to learn.

We are also excited to announce our upcoming Lunch on the Lawn event on January 20. This is always a joyful time for families to visit campus and share a special lunchtime together. To keep all students safe, every adult who plans to attend must register ahead of time (family members can include additional members on the same registration).

Thank you for supporting our safety procedures and helping us create a warm, welcoming, and secure environment for all Monarchs. We look forward to another great week of learning and community!

New Drop-Off and Dismissal Update

To help ease morning and afternoon traffic congestion, we are opening an additional access point for families. Beginning this week, the back gate on H4 will be open before school as an extra drop-off location.

We will also be moving 6th and 7th grade dismissal to this same gate to help improve traffic flow and reduce wait times at the front of the school.

Please take a moment to review the map above this article so you can see the updated traffic pattern and know exactly where to drop off and pick up your child.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep our arrival and dismissal procedures safe, smooth, and efficient for all families.

Celebrating Strong Attendance

We are excited to celebrate the classrooms that met or exceeded our 95% attendance goal last week! Thank you to these outstanding classes for showing commitment, consistency, and Monarch pride:

  • Ms. Kang / Ms. Matt– 98%
  • Mr. Zellers – 95%
  • Mr. Schraer – 99%

Great attendance helps students stay connected, confident, and ready to learn every day. Keep up the amazing work, Monarchs!
