Dear Mariposa Families and Friends,
As we launch another amazing school year, I want to celebrate the incredible work happening at Mariposa Innovation Academy. We are proud to be recognized as a Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase School for two years in a row and a PBIS Gold Award recipient, both reflecting our deep commitment to creating a positive, relationship-driven school culture.
Now six years strong in our structured literacy work, we continue to empower all students to become confident readers. Our focus on computer science integration ensures that every student is developing future-ready skills in coding, creativity, and critical thinking.
We are also thrilled to share that our school was voted the Best Public School in the Antelope Valley for 2026! Even though we are excited about his recognition, we know there is a lot more work ahead to continue to provide an educational experience that will ensure all of our students are successful!
