Dear Mariposa Families and Friends,
As we launch another amazing school year, I want to celebrate the incredible work happening at Mariposa Computer Science Magnet School. We are proud to be recognized as a Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase School and a PBIS Gold Award recipient, both reflecting our deep commitment to creating a positive, relationship-driven school culture.
Now five years strong in our structured literacy work, we continue to empower all students to become confident readers. Our focus on computer science integration ensures that every student is developing future-ready skills in coding, creativity, and critical thinking.
We are also thrilled to share that our school counselor was named the 2024 Los Angeles County School Counselor of the Year, a recognition of the exceptional support our students receive every day.
